Parent love

  • “From our very first call, Sphurti was warm, insightful, and so intentional about learning who my girls are — what they love, how they play, and how their needs differ. As soon as we received our customized designs, we felt so seen and supported.

She has designed a play nook that balances both their ages and abilities perfectly — active and fun for Viv (4), safe and confidence-building for Nora(2). We LOVE it.”

    - Elyse Schmitt, East Austin, TX

  • “Our 3-year-old son, H, is obsessed with our neighbor’s play space (also a Little Space designed by Sphurti). He’s been climbing on everything these days so the climbing wall is a BIG hit and finally a “yes space”! The large padded area below has been perfect for all the somersaulting and cartwheeling he’s into lately.

After seeing how much he loved it, (and honestly, how much energy he burned!), we decided to create a Little Space of our own. Sphurti helped us design it and showed us possibilities we’d never even considered. We’re so excited for the install next month — almost as excited as our son!”

Meet the founder

Hi, I’m Sphurti — a designer and mom of two wild boys based in Austin, TX. I built the first “Little Space” for my toddler, and it completely changed the way we played at home. Now I help other families create movement-rich spaces that support their kids and bring more calm and connection into everyday life.

This work brings together the two things I care deeply about: thoughtful design and the magic of childhood.
